This Corvette underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refresh in the late 1990s, carefully
preserving its originality. The car was refinished in its original color, 936A Ermine White,
the bumpers were re-chromed, front and rear suspension bushings were replaced, and
new body rubber was installed. The interior was updated with factory-style Saddle seat
covers, maintaining the correct look and feel.
Power comes from the numbers-matching 327ci / 250-horsepower V8, which was
removed and professionally rebuilt. The block was dipped and bored .030 over, fitted
with forged high-dome pistons, new timing components, and reworked cylinder heads,
while the bottom end retained factory specifications. Power is delivered through the
original Powerglide automatic transmission.
Also included with the sale is a factory GM hardtop, adding both value and versatility.
This Corvette is accompanied by extensive documentation, including receipts and parts
invoices, detailing the care and maintenance it has received throughout its life.
This is a well-documented, lifelong Virginia Corvette that combines originality, tasteful
restoration, and ownership history---an excellent opportunity for any serious collector.
