Third-Party Inspections
Congratulations - you have found the classic, muscle, or collector car of your dreams! Before
signing on the dotted line, however, it's important to make sure you understand the vehicle's
condition and are confident in your purchase.
At Duncan Imports & Classics, we encourage our customers to have any vehicle independently
inspected by a qualified professional before completing their purchase. We've partnered with
several providers and can recommend experienced local technicians and restoration shops that
specialize in classic cars, muscle cars, collector vehicles, and JDM vehicles.
A professional third-party inspection provides an additional set of experienced eyes and can
give you greater confidence in your purchase.

Benefits of a Third-Party Inspection
Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time classic-car buyer, a professional inspection
can provide valuable information about the vehicle's current condition and help you make an
informed purchasing decision.

Receive a Detailed Report
Following the inspection, you can receive a detailed assessment of the vehicle's interior and
exterior condition, including any visible defects or areas of concern. Depending on the
inspector, a typical inspection may include:
• Engine and mechanical components
• Suspension and steering
• Brakes
• Undercarriage
• Body panels and paint
• Trim and glass
• Interior and seats
• Controls and electrical components
Document the Vehicle's Condition
An experienced inspector can identify evidence of previous damage, older repairs, rust,
corrosion, or other areas that may require attention. They may also be able to provide an
estimate of potential repair costs.

Ask Questions
Working with an experienced professional gives you an opportunity to ask questions and
receive knowledgeable feedback about the vehicle before making your purchase. An inspection
can also help you better understand any repairs or maintenance that may be recommended.

Third-Party Classic Car Inspections
Looking for an unbiased, professional inspection? We recommend using a qualified local
technician or restoration shop with experience working on classic, collector, muscle, or JDM
vehicles.
An experienced repair or restoration professional can identify imperfections, explain areas of
concern, and provide insight into the potential cost of addressing those items.
For your convenience, please review the attached list of recommended local shops and
technicians that may be available to perform an independent inspection.

Please note: Any inspection is performed by an independent third party and is arranged and
paid for by the customer. Duncan Imports & Classics does not perform, control, or guarantee
the results of any third-party inspection.
