Unlike the track-focused R1 package, it did not feature dual oil coolers, stiffer Bilstein suspension, a front spoiler, or a rear wing. Standard features included cloth bucket seats, manual air conditioning, and 16-inch squeeze-cast aluminum alloy wheels.
