    Dealer Notes

The Honda Prelude is a sport coupe that was produced over five generations from 1978 to 2001. Loosely derived from the Accord, this sports car was the first Honda to include a moonroof a feature that remained standard equipment throughout its 23 years in production. Each new generation exhibited subtle adjustments to performance and appearance, and the third generation saw the introduction of the innovative mechanical four-wheel steering option in 1987, with an upgrade to electronic 4WS in 1991. The 4WS added a layer of safety and security by providing a more responsive driving experience, aiding in various situations ranging from high speed lane changes to low speed parking challenges. The Honda Prelude is offered as an economical front wheel drive vehicle with 4-cylinder engine, and has options for both manual and automatic transmission. Production of the Prelude ended in 2001 with the introduction of the fourth generation Integra. Third party pre-purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged. All vehicles sold by Duncan come with a clean U.S. title.

I have owned my Prelude for 3 years and absolutely love it. It drives/handles and responds like you would not believe even with 142,000 it has alot of power for a 4 banger, I actually had it up to 127 miles per hour and you wouldn't even believe you were going that fast, no vibration or shimmy at all. The off the line acceleration is remarkable, I let a friend drive it once and they said that driving this car slow is like putting a cheetah on a leash. The only negative sides that I can see are no where to put any kind of drink and the back seats are only good for holding CD cases and other things. But the seats up front are able to slide enough to the rear to fit my 6'5" 250lb boyfriend without having to go all the way back, People say that your car is an extension of your personality well I never believed that until I bought this car I am a 45 year old woman and have owned too many different cars over the years but this is my first honda and as far as it being an extension of my personality well let's just say that I'm a firm believer in that comment now as this car is really me and as far as Honda well I don't think I'll own anything but a Honda from now on.
