The 2000 Toyota Origin is a rare, limited-edition mid-size luxury sedan built exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) to commemorate Toyota reaching 100 million vehicles produced in Japan. Hand-assembled by master craftsmen between May 2000 and April 2001, only 1,073 units were ever made, making it a highly prized modern classic among collectors.
Despite its mid-century aesthetics, the Origin was built on a fully modern Y2K platform shared with the Japan-only luxury sedan, the Toyota Progres.
- Engine: Naturally aspirated 3.0-liter 2JZ-GE inline-six
- Power Output: 212 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque
